Pampered Pups
Pet grooming has come a long way from a quick wash in the backyard. Now your pet can be pampered in ways that will make the Kardashian's jealous. Other than a wash and cut, pets can be pampered with a luxurious bath, stylish cut, message, dental scrub, or ear cleaning. Boarding and doggie daycare are now popular options for owners. A full pawdicure is a delightful choice and now with an extensive list of doggie safe paw-lishes.
Paw-lished Paws
As Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI’s executive vice president puts it, “There are hotel for dogs, massages for dogs- why not nail polish for dogs?” With September 21-27 recognized as National Dog Week, OPI jumped in and promoted “Pawlish” nail polish for dogs. There is a wide variety of colors to chose from that will match your furry child's accessories. The product is quick drying, non-toxic, and thick; the company also offers “It’s Dog Gone! Pawlish Remover” and “Paw Pads Wipes” for when the polish chips or your pet changes their mind.
Not a Favorite
Not everyone is on board with the idea, PETA and cat owners had their fair share of opinions about the Pawlish product line. One lady in Long Island, Cristina Barden has a strong feeling about polishing your pet's nails, “That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of.” Regardless of what the haters are saying, the company sets it eye on Hollywood and is launching an event in November with Much Love Animal Charity- which has a long list of celebrity donors.
Board and Groom
Now, while sending your pet to the groomers to get a pet-i-cure isn’t a new trend, it's good to know OPI has come up with a safe pawlish for our furry animals. If you’re looking to get your pooch washed and clipped, Diamonds in the Ruff offers grooming like no other. Not only that, but boarding and daycare are also available. If you are in need of a groomer in Abilene, come by today and check out our facility.
